The fact that pigs can't look up at the sky has been circulating for years. Even if it's a myth, it has a certain air of truth to it. Think about pigs for a second and the way their bodies are structured. They have long bodies with short stubby legs. In fact, it looks like they have no necks at all.
The anatomy of their neck muscles makes it very difficult to bend their neck back more than a few degrees, but they can still look up a little bit. In that sense, they couldn't look straight up at the sky like humans do. However, that doesn't mean that they are not able to gaze at the stars.
Poor pigs. As if getting blamed for massive flu outbreaks and having a bad rep for personal hygiene is not enough. At least they're able to look up at the stars and dream like the rest of us.
